Program Description: | The Kitchen Techniques for New Culinarians Certificate of Completion (noncredit) provides an introduction to the culinary arts program. Students have the opportunity to explore commercial facilities and coursework involved in a culinary arts college program. Students will receive training in basic baking and cooking skills. The certificate is also a gateway to other noncredit and credit programs. The certificate is not intended to replace a credit course or certificate; but instead give students an opportunity to explore the field of culinary arts which receiving knowledge that will qualify them for work opportunities in domestic and commercial kitchens |
