Program Description: This certificate is designed for students interested in working in the field of substance use disorders. Completion of the total certificate of achievement will broaden a candidate’s understanding and assist in preparation needed to enter the field. This certificate is accredited by the California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE) and recognized by the other certifying organizations in California.The Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counseling Certificate program offers course work leading to a Certificate of Achievement.
