Program: Big Data and Hadoop Developer

Program Description: The Big Data and Hadoop Developer program is conducted in a fully integrated 4-day virtual-live format (2 weekends from 9am to 5pm each day), allowing participants to complete the 32 hours of instruction at a comfortable pace.Unlike other programs, the format tailors the time spent on each topic to be consistent with the level of content and complexity. This program delivers the key concepts and expertise participants need to ingest and process data on a Hadoop cluster. This course is designed to teach developers how to write effective MapReduce applications. Every lecture is accompanied by a hands-on exercise. There are multiple data sets, approaches and demonstrations used throughout the course to enable the student to explore the rich variety of solutions available using the MapReduce paradigm. Employing Hadoop ecosystem projects such as MapReduce, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, and Impala, this training course is the best preparation for the real world challenges faced by Hadoop developers. Participants learn to identify which tool is the right one to use in a given situation, and will gain hands-on experience in developing using those tools.
