Program: Substance Abuse Counselor Certificate Program - Online

Program Description: This program prepares individuals for careers in substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. Participants develop skills in client assessment, addiction counseling, case documentation, relapse prevention, group facilitation, and treatment planning. Graduates meet the educational requirements for the Registered Alcohol/Drug Technician (RADT) credential and are prepared to pursue advanced certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). Program completers are qualified for entry-level positions such as substance abuse technician, recovery specialist, case manager assistant, and residential treatment aide.
