Program: Pre-Apprentice Plumbing Class

Program Description: This class is for the individual who is interested in a career in plumbing. Upon satisfactorily completing the class students will be offered a spot in our apprentice program starting at third period which has a pay rate of $22.56 per hour. Our apprentices receive a $2.03 per hour raise every 6 months and journeyman scale when the program is completed, which is $41.00 per hour. Medical benefits and two pensions are also part of our package on top of the hourly wage.

Prerequisites:
• High School Diploma or GED • 18 years of age or over.• Students must be able to receive instruction, respond, and research in the English language.• Must be able to physically perform the work of a plumber on a construction site.• Able to pass a drug test.• Must have a valid California Driver’s license and reliable transportation.• Able to pass our application test with a minimum score of 75
