Program: Medical Billing and Office Administration

Program Description: Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator is a program that prepares individuals to plan, design, and manage systems, processes, and facilities used to collect, store, secure, retrieve, analyze, and transmit medical records. In all classes, students practice keyboarding, 10 -key calculator, and transcription for increased accuracy and speed. In addition, students also receive a basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, a strong foundation of medical and pharmaceutical terminology, instruction in medical billing and collections, along with the study of medical ethics and public relations.
