Program: Foundations in Early Education for Adults

Program Description: Foundations in Early Education is designed to develop the skills necessary to work in the early childhood education field. This field includes working with infants, toddlers, and pre-school age children as well as working in extended day care facilities and family childcare centers. Training will include understanding the developmental stages for child growth and development child health and safety care child nutrition guidance and discipline procedures intellectual and physical activities how to compile and use reference materials and how to use audio-visual materials. Course content is applicable to infant and toddler programs, preschool programs, kindergartens, and primary education. This class is taught in a combination of classrooms and community site training.
