Program: Executive Protection Specialist

Program Description: This course is designed for persons who are interested in obtaining employment in the security industry. Those that already have permits are highly recommended to take this course. Those that do not have the necessary state certifications required to work security in the State of California will be provided those certification during the course of instruction. If a person who does not have the required certifications, three additional days can be added to this course and tuition amounts will be adjusted. They can also obtain these state certifications after training but recommended it’s completed during training. This course is geared toward students who wish to learn and be certified in executive protection who operate within the corporate security industry. This course is designed for students who not only want to learn how to be a protective agent but also learn to be a shift leader or mid-level manager of a security team. This program is designed to teach the student the basic techniques and principles in executive protection and corporate security. This program covers the range of executive protection from the basic principles to some advanced techniques, protective motorcade operations, history of terrorism, terrorist operations, hostage survival, surveillance detection, individual protective measures, threat assessments, emergency action planning, personal data protection, preincident facility survey for law enforcement.

Prerequisites:
A student must be able to pass a criminal background check, and have no felonies that would preclude them from careers requiring security clearances or be able to carry a firearm.
