Program: Competent Person: Trench Safety Training

Program Description: A convenient one-day class reviewing the OSHA expectations of a Competent Person on site. The curriculum will also cover: OSHA regulations for various types of trench safety equipment, proper procedures for visual and manual soil tests, identification and control of hazardous conditions, and proper safety procedures for work near underground utilities.

Prerequisites:
ABC Training Academy trainees must be: 16 years of age, physically able to perform all essential functions of the craft and adapt to the job environment, and demonstrate drive and interest in pursuing a long-term career in the industry.
