Program: Automotive Master Technician

Program Description: This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Includes instruction in brake systems, electrical systems, and engines. Automotive mechanics program is designed to develop a strong base of knowledge and skills that will serve as a foundation for further study and/or pursuit of a career. Students will gain an appreciation of the environment and safety for themselves, others, and our community. Students will gain skills and knowledge in the area of their concentration. Upon completion of the Automotive Mechanics Technology certificate, students will demonstrate the skills necessary to work as service managers, shop owners of specialty shops, and as a major automotive corporation employee.

Prerequisites:
